These Terms of Service explain the rules for using InkyCustoms, placing orders, buying custom printed products, using customer accounts, using InkyPoints, submitting custom artwork links, using coupons, arranging delivery, and requesting returns or support. Please read these Terms before using our website or placing an order.

1. Overview

Welcome to InkyCustoms. These Terms of Service apply when you visit our website, create or use an account, place an order, buy a product, use InkyPoints, use coupons, submit custom artwork links, contact us, use our support channels, or otherwise interact with our website.

By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the website or place an order.

These Terms are intended to be clear and detailed. They explain how orders work, what our products are, what customers can expect from us, what we expect from customers, and how issues such as delivery, returns, custom products, InkyPoints, and website use are handled.

These Terms do not remove your statutory consumer rights. If there is any conflict between these Terms and rights that cannot legally be excluded, your statutory rights will apply.

2. Who we are

InkyCustoms is an independent UK-based business that prints custom slipcovers, replacement insert covers, replica-style covers, and related printed cover products for collectors and personal display use.

In these Terms, “InkyCustoms”, “Inky”, “IC”, “we”, “us”, and “our” mean InkyCustoms, operated by a UK-based sole trader.

For privacy reasons, we may use the trading name InkyCustoms publicly, but official business paperwork, invoices, legal notices, or correspondence may include the legal operator details where required.

3. Our products

We print custom and replacement cover products for collectors, including slipcovers, insert covers, replacement insert covers, replica-style printed covers, and related printed packaging materials.

Our products may be designed for use with or display alongside media cases, console game cases, disc cases, Blu-ray cases, 4K Blu-ray cases, PlayStation-style cases, and other media packaging formats.

Unless we clearly state otherwise, our products are printed replacement, custom, or display items. They are not official replacement parts, original retail covers, licensed publisher products, manufacturer-made items, or products supplied by the original rights holder.

Our products are intended for personal collection, display, replacement, organisation, or decorative use. They should not be used to mislead people about the authenticity, origin, completeness, condition, or official status of a game, film, disc, case, console item, or collectible.

4. No affiliation with third-party brands

InkyCustoms is an independent business.

We are not affiliated with, authorised by, endorsed by, sponsored by, licensed by, or officially connected with Sony, PlayStation, Microsoft, Xbox, Nintendo, any console manufacturer, game publisher, film studio, record label, distributor, rights holder, marketplace, grading company, or other third-party brand owner unless we clearly state otherwise.

References to third-party brands, consoles, formats, games, films, cases, media names, product names, or platforms are used only to describe compatibility, requested format, customer instructions, product context, or the intended use of our printed products.

No third-party brand owner is responsible for our products, website, customer support, printing, delivery, returns, refunds, or services.

5. Third-party rights

All third-party names, brands, trademarks, logos, artwork, game names, film names, media names, console names, product names, publisher names, manufacturer names, and other protected materials remain the property of their respective owners.

Where third-party material appears on or in connection with a product, listing, reference image, mockup, custom request, or customer-supplied file, that material remains subject to the rights of the relevant third-party owner.

Nothing on our website should be understood as claiming ownership of third-party intellectual property.

We may refuse, cancel, edit, or decline any order, request, file, design, reference, or product where we believe there may be a legal, rights, quality, operational, ethical, or practical issue.

6. Who can buy from us

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order with us.

If you are under 18, you should only use the website or place an order with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

By placing an order, you confirm that:

  • You are legally able to enter into a purchase.
  • The information you provide is accurate.
  • You are buying for lawful personal, collector, display, or permitted use.
  • You will not misuse the product to mislead others.
  • You will comply with these Terms.

7. Customer accounts

Customers may be able to check out as guests or create an account.

Customer accounts may allow you to access features such as:

  • Dashboard access.
  • Order history.
  • Saved billing and delivery addresses.
  • Coupons.
  • InkyPoints balance.
  • InkyPoints tab or reward information.
  • Tracking or order status details.
  • Customer preferences.

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that happens through your account.

We may restrict, suspend, close, or review accounts where we reasonably believe there has been misuse, fraud, abuse, suspicious activity, unauthorised access, breach of these Terms, payment risk, reward misuse, coupon misuse, fake activity, or activity that could harm customers, the website, payment systems, reward systems, or our business.

If you want your account deleted, you need to contact us through our Contact Us page. Account deletion may affect your order history display, saved addresses, coupons, InkyPoints, rewards, and account-only features.

8. InkyPoints

We may offer a loyalty and rewards feature called InkyPoints. InkyPoints may be powered by WPLoyalty or similar WooCommerce loyalty and rewards tools.

Customers need an account to use InkyPoints.

InkyPoints may be earned through eligible activities, which may include:

  • Eligible purchases.
  • Referral activity.
  • Birthday rewards.
  • Social follow activities.
  • Other campaigns or reward actions that we choose to offer.

InkyPoints may be redeemable for money-off rewards, coupons, or other rewards shown on the website or in your account.

InkyPoints currently expire after 12 months, unless a different period is shown in your account, on the reward page, or in a specific promotion.

InkyPoints are not cash. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, cannot be transferred to another person, and cannot be sold.

We may correct, adjust, remove, refuse, expire, cancel, or reverse InkyPoints, coupons, rewards, referral rewards, birthday rewards, social rewards, or related benefits where we reasonably believe there has been:

  • A technical error.
  • A pricing or reward error.
  • Duplicate activity.
  • Misuse or suspected misuse.
  • Fraud or suspected fraud.
  • Unfair use.
  • Abuse of a feature or promotion.
  • Activity that does not match the intended purpose of the reward.
  • Breach of these Terms.

We may change, pause, withdraw, replace, or end InkyPoints or any reward feature at any time. Where possible, we will try to avoid unfairly affecting genuine customers, but we cannot guarantee that InkyPoints, rewards, or coupons will remain available permanently.

9. Coupons, discounts, and promotions

We may offer coupons, discount codes, newsletter offers, reward coupons, referral offers, birthday offers, social rewards, promotional pricing, or other customer perks.

Unless we say otherwise, coupons and promotions:

  • Are subject to availability.
  • May be limited to certain customers, products, countries, order values, or time periods.
  • May require a customer account.
  • May be limited to one use per customer, household, account, order, email address, payment method, or delivery address.
  • May not be combined with other offers.
  • Cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Cannot be applied retrospectively to previous orders unless we choose to allow it.
  • May be withdrawn, corrected, or refused where there is an error or suspected misuse.

We do not have to honour a discount, coupon, or promotion if it was issued in error, displayed incorrectly, misused, obtained through suspicious activity, or used in a way that does not match the intended purpose of the offer.

10. Website use

You agree to use the website lawfully, fairly, and only for its intended purpose.

You must not:

  • Use the website for unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or abusive activity.
  • Attempt to hack, damage, overload, scrape, copy, interfere with, or disrupt the website.
  • Use bots, scripts, automation, or other tools to abuse features, forms, accounts, checkout, coupons, InkyPoints, reviews, or reward systems.
  • Submit fake, misleading, abusive, defamatory, infringing, spam, or unlawful information.
  • Attempt to bypass security, payment, coupon, reward, account, or checkout systems.
  • Use another person’s account or payment method without permission.
  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, or commercially exploit our website content, designs, product listings, mockups, templates, or images without permission.
  • Use our products, designs, website, or services to mislead others about authenticity, official status, originality, or value.

We may block, restrict, suspend, or refuse access where we reasonably believe the website or any feature is being misused.

11. Product information

We try to describe our products clearly and accurately. Product pages may include information about product type, format, size, case compatibility, material, finish, optional add-ons, dispatch estimates, and other relevant details.

Product photos, mockups, previews, and examples are for illustration. They may show cases, discs, consoles, accessories, props, or other items for context. These are only included if the product page or order clearly says they are included.

You should check the product page, product options, custom instructions, basket, and checkout carefully before ordering.

If you are unsure whether a product is suitable for your case, console, disc format, collection, or intended use, please contact us before ordering.

12. Colour, print, finish, and production variations

We do our best to produce high-quality printed products, but printed colours and finishes can vary.

You understand that:

  • Screens display colours differently.
  • Printed colours may not exactly match what you see on your device.
  • Printed colours may not exactly match original retail artwork.
  • Printed colours may not exactly match previous print batches.
  • Paper/card finish, thickness, trimming, folding, alignment, and print finish may vary slightly.
  • Small production tolerances can occur with printed and trimmed items.
  • Mockups and preview images may not perfectly represent the final printed item.

We try our best to match colours and produce a clean result, but we do not guarantee exact colour matching, exact original-manufacturer matching, exact batch-to-batch consistency, or perfect reproduction of original retail materials.

13. Cases, add-ons, and optional extras

Some products may allow optional extras, such as cases, upgraded cases, PS5-style cases, or other add-ons.

Add-ons are only included where selected by you and shown in the order.

If a product image shows a case, disc, console, accessory, or prop, that does not automatically mean it is included. The product page and order confirmation control what is included.

Cases and add-ons may vary slightly in appearance, finish, supply, availability, or manufacturer batch.

14. Custom, personalised, and made-to-order products

Many InkyCustoms products are custom, personalised, printed to order, made to order, or prepared specifically for your order.

Custom and made-to-order products may include:

  • Custom slipcovers.
  • Custom insert covers.
  • Replacement insert covers.
  • Replica-style printed covers.
  • Customer-requested designs.
  • Products printed using customer-supplied artwork or references.
  • Products printed in a selected format, case size, or variant.

Because these products are produced specifically for your order, they may not be suitable for resale if returned, especially once printing, trimming, folding, preparation, or custom work has started.

We may refuse, cancel, or decline a custom request if we believe it is unclear, incomplete, unsuitable, technically impractical, too low quality, legally risky, potentially infringing, harmful, abusive, or otherwise not something we can produce.

15. Custom artwork links and customer-supplied files

For custom orders, customers may upload artwork, images, references, or files to Google Drive, Dropbox, or a similar service and submit a link before adding the product to the basket.

We do not currently collect direct custom artwork uploads through the website. Custom files are not normally stored as direct WordPress or WooCommerce uploads.

If you provide custom artwork, images, files, references, screenshots, links, logos, text, or instructions, you confirm that:

  • You have the right to provide them to us.
  • You have permission for us to use them to complete your order.
  • They do not infringe anyone else’s rights.
  • They are not unlawful, abusive, misleading, harmful, or inappropriate.
  • They are suitable for the product you are ordering.
  • You understand that low-quality files can affect print quality.

You grant us permission to access, review, edit, crop, resize, adjust, arrange, prepare, print, and process customer-supplied materials as needed to complete and support your order.

We use customer-supplied custom artwork only to review, prepare, print, complete, and support your order. We delete our copies of custom artwork every 30 days.

The original file stored in your Google Drive, Dropbox, or other file-sharing account is controlled by you and the relevant platform. If you want to remove access to the original file, you should manage or delete it through your own file-sharing account.

16. Customer content, messages, and instructions

Customer content may include custom instructions, order notes, artwork links, support messages, emails, Discord messages, WhatsApp messages, review text, review photos, feedback, or other material you provide to us.

You are responsible for making sure customer content you provide is accurate, lawful, appropriate, and does not infringe anyone else’s rights.

We may reject, remove, refuse, or ignore customer content where we believe it is fake, misleading, abusive, unlawful, infringing, spam, technically unsafe, harmful, or unsuitable.

If customer content includes personal information about another person, you confirm that you have permission to provide that information to us for the relevant purpose.

17. Ownership of our designs and materials

All InkyCustoms branding, website content, product photos, templates, layouts, design arrangements, mockups, digital files, production files, print files, written content, original designs, and other materials created by us are owned by us or our licensors.

You must not copy, scan, reproduce, distribute, upload, sell, resell, share, modify, reverse engineer, extract, or commercially exploit our designs, templates, product images, print files, production files, mockups, website content, or other materials without our written permission.

Where a product includes third-party names, artwork, marks, or references, those rights remain with the relevant third-party owner.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of our business name, branding, templates, production files, design systems, product photography, website content, or other intellectual property to you.

18. You are buying the physical printed product only

When you buy from InkyCustoms, you are buying the physical printed product described in your order.

Unless we clearly agree otherwise in writing, you do not receive:

  • Editable design files.
  • Source files.
  • Print-ready digital files.
  • Templates.
  • Artwork ownership.
  • Copyright ownership.
  • Trademark rights.
  • Design rights.
  • A licence to reproduce the design.
  • A licence to sell copies of the design.

If you need a separate licence, commercial permission, or digital file release, this must be agreed with us separately in writing.

19. Authenticity, collector use, and resale

Our products are intended for personal collection, replacement, display, and organisation use.

You must not use our products to mislead others, including by representing an item as official, original, complete, licensed, manufacturer-made, publisher-made, factory sealed, original retail, or more valuable than it really is.

We do not guarantee that our products will:

  • Increase the value of an item.
  • Maintain the value of an item.
  • Be accepted by collectors.
  • Be accepted by marketplaces.
  • Be accepted by grading companies.
  • Be accepted by buyers or resellers.
  • Match an original retail item exactly.
  • Make any item official, original, complete, or authentic.

You are responsible for how you use, display, describe, list, sell, or transfer products after purchase.

20. Placing an order

When you place an order, you agree that all information you provide is accurate, complete, and up to date.

This may include:

  • Your name.
  • Email address.
  • Billing address.
  • Delivery address.
  • Phone number, where provided.
  • Company name, where provided.
  • Product choices.
  • Case type or format.
  • Order notes.
  • Custom instructions.
  • Custom artwork links.
  • Coupon or InkyPoints use.
  • Payment information submitted to the payment provider.

Please check your order carefully before submitting it. We may begin processing, preparing, printing, or producing an order after it is placed.

If you notice an error after ordering, contact us through our Contact Us page as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee that changes can be made once production or dispatch preparation has started.

21. Order acceptance, refusal, and cancellation by us

Your order is an offer to buy the products in your basket. An order is accepted when we confirm, process, produce, dispatch, or otherwise accept it.

We may refuse, cancel, or refund an order if:

  • The product is unavailable.
  • There is a pricing, listing, stock, coupon, reward, or website error.
  • Payment is declined, reversed, disputed, or flagged.
  • The order appears fraudulent or suspicious.
  • The order appears to misuse coupons, discounts, referrals, rewards, or InkyPoints.
  • The order information is incomplete, unclear, or unsuitable.
  • Custom artwork is missing, inaccessible, unsuitable, too low quality, or not provided correctly.
  • We cannot complete the item to a suitable standard.
  • The order creates legal, rights, quality, operational, or safety concerns.
  • The order breaches these Terms.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled item unless we are legally entitled to withhold or deduct an amount.

22. Prices, taxes, and availability

Prices are shown on the website and may change from time to time.

Product prices may vary depending on product type, format, case type, add-ons, options, delivery, discounts, promotions, or other selections.

We may change prices, offers, product ranges, add-ons, delivery options, and availability at any time. Changes will not affect orders that we have already accepted unless there has been an obvious error.

If a price, product, delivery cost, coupon, reward, or discount is shown incorrectly because of a technical, human, plugin, system, or pricing error, we may cancel the order, correct the price, or contact you for instructions.

Customers outside the UK are responsible for any currency conversion charges, bank charges, import duties, customs fees, taxes, VAT, GST, handling fees, brokerage fees, or other local charges that may apply unless we clearly state otherwise at checkout.

23. Payment

Payment may be processed through third-party payment providers such as Stripe, PayPal, WooPayments, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and card payments through WooPayments.

By submitting payment details, you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method and that the information you provide is accurate.

We do not store full card details ourselves. Payment providers process payment information according to their own terms and privacy notices.

We may receive limited payment-related information, such as payment status, payment method, billing details, transaction reference, refund status, chargeback status, and risk or fraud check information.

If payment is declined, reversed, disputed, charged back, or flagged as suspicious, we may pause, cancel, refund, or refuse the order.

24. Fraud checks and misuse prevention

We may use manual checks, payment provider checks, WooCommerce information, Cloudflare, Turnstile, security tools, account information, order information, coupon information, and InkyPoints activity to help prevent fraud, abuse, spam, bots, unauthorised access, fake activity, suspicious transactions, and misuse of website features.

We may pause, review, cancel, refund, refuse, or restrict orders, accounts, coupons, InkyPoints, rewards, referrals, or website access where we reasonably believe there may be fraud, misuse, suspicious activity, abuse, or a breach of these Terms.

This section is intended to protect genuine customers, payment systems, delivery systems, reward systems, and our business.

25. Production times

Production times are estimates unless we clearly say otherwise.

Production may be affected by:

  • Order volume.
  • Custom artwork checks.
  • File quality issues.
  • Missing or unclear instructions.
  • Printer, material, stock, or equipment issues.
  • Quality checks.
  • Reprints.
  • Peak periods.
  • Bank holidays or business interruptions.

If your order is custom, made to order, or dependent on customer-supplied artwork, production may not begin until we have the information or files needed to produce the item.

26. Delivery

We use Royal Mail and Royal Mail Click & Drop for delivery and dispatch management.

Any delivery date, dispatch date, production estimate, arrival estimate, or delivery timeframe shown on the website is an estimate unless we clearly state that it is guaranteed.

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Royal Mail or courier delays.
  • Customs delays.
  • Incorrect or incomplete addresses.
  • Failed delivery attempts.
  • Non-collection.
  • Unpaid import charges.
  • Weather.
  • Strikes or service disruption.
  • Peak season delays.
  • Events outside our reasonable control.

For UK consumer sales, goods should generally be delivered within 30 days unless a different timeframe has been agreed with the customer.

Risk in the goods passes to you when the goods are delivered to the delivery address you provided. Ownership of the goods passes to you once we have received full payment.

27. International orders

We may sell to customers in the UK, USA, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and other locations where delivery is available.

International orders may be subject to customs checks, delays, duties, taxes, VAT, GST, handling fees, brokerage fees, import rules, or other local charges.

For international orders, customer and order information may be included on shipping labels, customs forms, import paperwork, postal systems, and local delivery systems.

You are responsible for checking whether the goods can be imported into your country and for paying any local import charges unless we clearly state otherwise at checkout.

We are not responsible for delays, returns, seizures, charges, or losses caused by customs, import rules, local laws, incorrect delivery details, or refusal to pay import charges.

28. Tracking

Tracking is available only where the selected delivery service includes tracking.

If your item has tracking, tracking information may appear in your dispatch email, order details, customer account, or Royal Mail tracking information.

Some services may provide delivery confirmation only rather than full step-by-step tracking.

Tracking updates are provided by the delivery provider and may not always update immediately or accurately.

29. Delivery issues, incorrect addresses, and returned parcels

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

If your order is returned to us because of an incorrect address, incomplete address, failed delivery, non-collection, refusal, unpaid customs/import charges, or similar issue, we may ask you to pay reasonable re-delivery costs before sending it again.

If an order appears lost, delayed, damaged in transit, or incorrectly delivered, please contact us through our Contact Us page and provide your order number.

We may need to wait for Royal Mail or another delivery provider to investigate before issuing a replacement or refund.

If a parcel is marked as delivered by the delivery provider but you have not received it, please check with household members, neighbours, safe places, building reception, local delivery office, and the delivery provider before contacting us.

30. Cancelling or changing an order before production

If you want to cancel or change an order, contact us through our Contact Us page as soon as possible.

If production has not started and the order has not been prepared, we may be able to cancel or change the order.

If production, printing, trimming, preparation, custom work, or dispatch preparation has started, we may not be able to cancel or change the order.

This is especially important for custom, personalised, made-to-order, or printed-to-order items.

This section does not affect your legal rights if an item is faulty, incorrect, misdescribed, or not supplied as required by law.

31. Returns and refunds

Please contact us through our Contact Us page before returning anything:

Do not send items back without contacting us first, as we may need to give you return instructions.

Return and refund rights depend on the type of item, whether the item is custom or standard, whether production has started, whether the item has been used, and whether the item is faulty, incorrect, damaged, or misdescribed.

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory consumer rights.

32. Returns for custom, personalised, and made-to-order items

Many InkyCustoms products are custom, personalised, printed to order, made to order, or prepared specifically for your order.

For custom, personalised, or made-to-order items, change-of-mind cancellation or return rights may not apply unless the item is faulty, incorrect, misdescribed, or not supplied as required by law.

We may still choose to accept a return at our discretion if:

  • You contact us as soon as possible.
  • The item is unused.
  • The item is in its original packaging where applicable.
  • The item is in resellable condition.
  • The item has not been damaged, altered, fitted, displayed, folded beyond normal packaging, marked, or handled beyond what is reasonable.
  • The item is not too personalised, specific, or custom to be resold.

If we accept a discretionary return for a custom or made-to-order item, you are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty, incorrect, or misdescribed.

33. Returns for standard, non-custom items

For standard, non-custom items, you may have a legal right to cancel your order within the applicable cancellation period if you are a consumer.

Returned standard items should be unused, complete, in original packaging where possible, and in resellable condition unless the reason for return is that the item is faulty, incorrect, damaged, or misdescribed.

Where a refund is due under consumer cancellation rights, we will process it in line with applicable law.

If you handle an item beyond what is necessary to inspect it and that handling reduces its value, we may be entitled to make a reasonable deduction from the refund where allowed by law.

34. Faulty, damaged, incorrect, or misdescribed items

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, incorrect, or significantly not as described, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

Please include:

  • Your order number.
  • A clear description of the issue.
  • Clear photos of the item.
  • Photos of the packaging if the item was damaged in transit.
  • Any relevant delivery or tracking information.

Depending on the issue and your legal rights, we may offer a repair, replacement, reprint, partial refund, full refund, or another appropriate solution.

We may ask you to return the item or provide further evidence before we can resolve the issue.

Small colour differences, reasonable production tolerances, slight finish differences, minor alignment differences, and screen-to-print differences are not automatically faults.

35. Return postage

Unless the item is faulty, incorrect, damaged, or misdescribed, you are responsible for return postage costs.

You should use a suitable tracked or insured postal service where appropriate.

You are responsible for the returned item until it reaches us.

We may refuse a refund or deduct a reasonable amount if a returned item is used, damaged, incomplete, missing packaging, not in resellable condition, or handled beyond what is reasonable.

Refunds will usually be made to the original payment method unless we agree or are required to do otherwise.

36. Reviews, ratings, photos, and feedback

Reviews are planned and may not currently be active. If reviews are enabled, customers may be able to submit reviews, ratings, comments, or photos.

If you submit a review, rating, photo, comment, or feedback, you confirm that it is honest, accurate, lawful, and based on your genuine experience.

You must not submit reviews or content that are fake, misleading, abusive, defamatory, unlawful, infringing, spam, offensive, irrelevant, or designed to manipulate ratings or customer trust.

We may reject, remove, edit for formatting, refuse to publish, or report reviews or content where we reasonably believe they breach these Terms, violate the law, misuse the review system, or are otherwise unsuitable.

If you submit a review or photo, you grant InkyCustoms permission to display, reproduce, crop, resize, edit for formatting, publish, and share that review or photo on our website, product pages, social media, marketing emails, or other promotional materials where appropriate.

Submitting a review does not guarantee that it will be published.

37. AI chat and automated help

Our website may use an AI chat feature, including AI Chat by PureThemes or similar tools, to help answer customer questions or guide visitors.

AI chat responses may not always be accurate, complete, current, or suitable for your specific issue.

You should not rely on AI chat for final information about your order, returns, refunds, custom artwork, legal rights, privacy rights, or urgent support.
