Our insert covers

Replacement box art, professionally printed for your PS5 games and 4K films — because the cover inside the case matters as much as the one on the shelf.

What is an insert cover?

Replacement insert cover example

An insert cover is the printed artwork sheet that sits inside the clear plastic sleeve of your game or film case: the front cover, the spine and the back, all in one piece. It’s the first thing anyone sees on your shelf.

Over time, inserts take a beating. Sun fades the spine, case clips crease the edges, and price stickers never come off cleanly. Some titles only ever came with a cover you don’t love, or with another region’s artwork.

Swapping one is completely non-destructive. It slides in under the case’s clear sleeve and can be taken out again at any time. No glue, no tools, no changes to your case.

We produce replacement inserts for PS5, PS4, PS3, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, Xbox, Blu-ray and 4K UHD — the formats collectors actually display. Each one is sized to its case format, so it sits neatly in the sleeve without any trimming.

Why replace an insert?

Physical media lives on a shelf for years, and the insert is the part that shows its age first.

Collectors replace inserts to fix worn or faded covers, to get a UK PAL version with the right barcode, age rating and legal text, or to make a whole series match.

And sometimes the artwork that shipped just isn’t the best art the game or film ever had. Our custom designs let you choose.

Whatever the reason, a new insert gives a case a fresh, finished look for a fraction of the cost of buying the title again.

Designed from scratch, built for print

Insert cover layout: back, spine and front

Every insert we make is rebuilt from scratch in professional print software, not scanned or pulled from low-resolution images online. Barcodes, regional PAL details, age ratings, specs and legal text are recreated so the back of the case looks as right as the front.

We produce two types. Retail replicas are researched reproductions of covers that were really released, matched as closely as possible to the original. Custom designs are entirely original artwork, for titles that never had the cover they deserved or as alternate versions of ones that did.

Our Process
01

Reference Gathering

For retail replicas, we track down official artwork, press images and physical copies so the layout, colours and details match the real release.

02

Case Measuring

Every case format has its own size and spine width. Our layouts are built from measured cases so each insert fits its sleeve properly.

03

Design & Layout

Front, spine and back are built at full print resolution in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, with barcodes, ratings and legal text rebuilt by hand.

04

Colour Management

All artwork is converted to CMYK for our paper and printer, then checked for resolution, bleed and overprint before it goes to print.

05

Print & Quality Check

Printed at 1200 DPI, trimmed by hand and checked for colour and clean edges before packing.

06

Packing & Dispatch

Packed flat in a rigid A4 cardboard-backed envelope marked Please Do Not Bend, so it arrives crisp and uncurled.

We produce two types of insert. Retail replicas are accurate recreations of covers that were officially released. Custom designs are original pieces, built for titles that never got the cover they deserved.

Print quality that shows

Insert cover print detail

We print inserts on 130–150gsm silk paper: thin enough to sit flat under the case sleeve, with a finish that keeps colours rich and small text sharp.

Silk finish sits between gloss and matte. It gives artwork depth without the glare of gloss, so the cover looks right behind the plastic sleeve.

We print at 1200 DPI on the same calibrated equipment as our slipcovers, with every design colour-managed for the paper, so blacks stay deep and fine print stays crisp.

Every insert ships flat in a rigid A4 cardboard-backed envelope — not a padded bag — so it arrives flat and ready to slide into your case.

“If it doesn’t look like it came in the case, we don’t send it.”

Built for collectors, by collectors

Insert cover in a game case

We’re collectors ourselves. We know what a faded or creased cover does to a shelf, and how good a crisp, matching row of cases looks.

That means we don’t cut corners on the details that matter: barcodes, ratings, spine text and colour.

We look at every insert before it’s packed. If it doesn’t look right in the case, it doesn’t leave us.
