OUR SLIPCOVERS
Hand-crafted, professionally printed outer sleeves for your PS5 games and 4K films — because your shelf should look as good as your collection.
WHAT IS A SLIPCOVER?

A slipcover is the printed cardboard sleeve that slides over the outside of your game or film case. You’ve seen them before — older DVD and Blu-ray releases almost always included them. They gave each title a premium, finished look that bare plastic cases simply can’t replicate.
Think of it as the dust jacket equivalent for physical media. It wraps tightly, sits flush with the case, and when done right looks completely indistinguishable from official packaging. It’s the difference between something you’d display and something you’d hide.
Crucially, a slipcover is completely non-destructive. It slides over the outside of your existing case and can be removed at any time without leaving any residue, marks, or damage. Your original case stays untouched underneath — no adhesive, no modification, no risk.
We produce slipcovers for PS5, PS4, 4K UHD Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD — the formats collectors actually display. Each one is templated to the exact measured dimensions of its case format, so it sits perfectly on the first attempt without adjustment.
SO WHERE DID THEY GO?
Around 2021, production costs surged across the board and publishers started cutting wherever they could without visibly raising shelf prices. Slipcovers were an easy target — a premium finishing touch with a real cost attached. The cuts happened gradually, then all at once.
Some publishers stopped including them for standard releases, keeping them only for day-one or limited editions. Others dropped them entirely. By the mid 2020s, a slipcover on a new release had gone from expected to exceptional — a selling point rather than a standard.
For those who love slipcovers, the shift was obvious and frustrating. Shelves that once had a consistent, finished look started feeling incomplete. A bare case where a slipcover should be isn’t a small thing when you care about how your collection presents itself.
The studios made a business decision. We made a different one: to make the slipcovers that should have shipped with your game or film — and the ones that never existed in the first place but should have.
DESIGNED FROM SCRATCH, BUILT FOR PRINT

Every slipcover we make is designed entirely in professional print software — Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. No templates, no web tools, no shortcuts. Each design is built from scratch to the exact measured dimensions of its specific case format, with artwork carefully composed and colour-managed for print from the start.
We produce two types. Retail replicas are researched reproductions of slipcovers that officially existed — referenced, recreated, and matched as closely as possible to the original. Custom designs are entirely original artwork created in-house: slipcovers for titles that never had one, or the version we always felt a game deserved.
Reference Gathering
For retail replicas, we track down the highest quality reference material available — official press images, physical scans, front and back artwork — so we’re working from the actual source, not guesswork. For custom designs, this is where the creative brief takes shape.
Case Dimensioning
Every case format — PS5, PS4, 4K UHD, Blu-ray, DVD — has different physical dimensions. We build each template from measured specifications, not estimates. Spine width, flap depth, and bleed areas are all calculated so the finished slipcover sits perfectly.
Design & Layout
Built in InDesign with artwork placed at full print resolution. Typography is set with the same weights and spacing as the original for replicas, or designed from scratch for customs. Every element — kerning, image crop, spine alignment — is deliberate.
Colour Management & Preflight
All artwork is converted to the correct CMYK profile for our paper stock and printer before anything goes to print. We run a full preflight to catch resolution, bleed, and overprint issues. This is where most print failures happen — we prevent them before they start.
Print & Quality Check
Printed at 1200 DPI on a calibrated engine with a colour-accurate ICC profile built for our specific paper stock. Every slipcover is inspected before packing — colour accuracy, edge cleanliness, and consistency are all checked before it leaves us.
Packing & Dispatch
Folded and packed into a rigid stiffened envelope — not a padded bag. Padded bags flex and crease slipcovers in transit. Stiffened envelopes protect the flat surface from us to you, arriving uncurled and ready to slide straight onto your case.
We produce two types of slipcover. Retail replicas are accurate recreations of real titles — designed to match the aesthetic of the original release as closely as possible. Custom designs are original pieces, built from scratch to your brief or our own creative direction.
PRINT QUALITY THAT SHOWS
We print on a specialist silk finish paper sourced specifically for slipcover production. It’s not standard paper — it’s engineered to fold without cracking, which is why every slipcover goes through our anti-crack machine scoring process on all fold lines before it reaches you. Scored folds are cleaner, sharper, and won’t develop stress marks or white creasing over time.
Silk finish sits between gloss and matte. It gives colours real depth and vibrancy without the over-reflective sheen that makes gloss stock look cheap under direct light. It holds fine print detail better than uncoated stock, so small spine text stays crisp and readable at any size.
We print at 1200 DPI on a calibrated print engine using a colour-accurate ICC profile built specifically for our paper stock. That means the colour in your artwork carries through accurately to the finished print — no unexpected hue shifts, no blown-out highlights, no muddy shadows. What we proof is what you receive.
Every slipcover is flat-packed into a rigid stiffened envelope — not a padded bag. Padded bags flex under pressure and can crease slipcovers in transit. Stiffened envelopes protect the flat surface from dispatch to delivery, arriving uncurled and ready to fit first try.
“Two tabs hold the slipcover on your case — the same dual-tab mechanism used on official retail packaging. It holds securely on vertical display without sliding, shifting, or needing anything adhesive. Your case stays completely untouched.”

BUILT FOR COLLECTORS, BY COLLECTORS

We’re collectors ourselves. We know exactly what a shelf should look like — and what it looks like when it falls short. Every title we release is something we’d want on our own shelf, which is why every decision we make gets measured against that standard first.
That means we don’t cut corners on paper stock, on design time, or on the research that goes into getting a retail replica right. A slipcover that doesn’t look like it belongs next to official packaging isn’t good enough for us, because it wouldn’t be good enough for our own collection.
We look at every slipcover from the perspective of someone who genuinely cares: is the artwork positioned correctly? Is the spine text aligned? Does the colour match? Would this look at home displayed next to an official copy? If the answer to any of those is no, it doesn’t ship.
